Infectious diseases, bacterial, parasitic protozoan, helminth (worm), and diarrheal diseases plague more than one billion people in the developing world.

The mission of Developing World Cures (DWC) is to discover and develop medicines to treat such diseases. Our vision is a world without neglected diseases.

Organized as a non-profit corporation, DWC represents a “new non-profit paradigm” linking university basic research with industry-trained scientists. The collaboration between these two groups is the key translational element that will bring DWC projects to therapeutic reality.
